RES COMPASS

Project "RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES COMPASS" is developed in the Call Intelligent Energy – Europe (IEE).

RES COMPASS objectives are:

The establishment of favorable conditions for the development of energy education in secondary and higher education by facilitating the access of high school and higher education students to knowledge and skills required to work in the sector. (1) To improve European dimension of guidance about emerging RES-related occupations. (2) To improve careers information on these occupations. (3) To boost employment in the sector. (4) To contribute to the development of the RES sector.

The project’s objectives:

(1) Development of a database with information on current training offered in 27 EU member states. (2) Development of an online web based tool that will incorporate the test, the RES occupational profiles and training offer in EU-27 and will allow students to assess their interests and skills, choose a RES profile and access more information about the training offer.
